FESRD educated students from 6 universities

Between 26th June and 1st July 2017, students from universities from China, Kirgistan, Kazakstan, Italy, Croatia and Slovakia participated at the summer school organized by our Faculty within the framework of the project IUCLAND No: 561841-EPP-1-2015-1- IT-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP (www.iucland.eu) coordinated by the Centre of International Programmes, FESRD.
The main topic of the summer school was the highly actual land degradation. 30 students and 12 teachers from abroad participated at the summer school, which was organized under the professional supervision of prof. RNDr. Pavol Bielek, DrSc. from the Department of sustainable development, FESRD. Beside the foreign lecturers, there also participated teachers from our Faculty, such as prof. RNDr. Pavol Bielek, DrSc., prof. Ing. Dušan Húska. Csc., from HLEF doc. Ing. Zlatica Muchová, PhD., doc. Ing. Ľuboš Jurík, PhD. Within the practical part, students visited biogas station in Kolíňany accompanied by Ing. Tomáš Giertl from the Department of regional bioenergy and consequently they visited research plots of the fast-growing plants with commentary from Ing. Martin Hauptvogl, PhD. from the Department of sustainable development.
